Connector for Windows Server
Gives Plank access to your 1C base and to one file-exchange folder from inside your network, with no inbound ports opened. It runs in the background as SYSTEM, starts on its own when the server boots, and needs nobody logged in.
Before you install
- Publish the 1C base on a web server with the standard OData interface (Designer → Administration → Publish to web server).
- Create a dedicated 1C user for Plank with rights to the documents and catalogs it needs.
- Allow the server's OUTBOUND connections: TCP 443 to enroll.plank.md, and TCP + UDP 7844 to Cloudflare (region1.v2.argotunnel.com, region2.v2.argotunnel.com). No inbound ports are needed.
Installation
- 1
Unzip the archive
Into any temporary folder, for example the desktop.
- 2
Run the installer as administrator
Right-click Start → Terminal (Admin) or Windows PowerShell (Admin), then:
cd <folder you unzipped to> powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\Install-PlankConnector.ps1 - 3
Answer the questions
The 1C base address — the one that opens in a browser, without /odata/… (e.g. http://srv-1c/buh). The 1C user and password for Plank. The exchange folder — C:\PlankFiles by default; a mapped drive like Z:\ is invisible to a background task, so use a \\server\share path.
- 4
Let it check
The script checks the 1C sign-in and the outbound ports, installs the connector to C:\PlankConnector, registers the scheduled task “PlankConnector” and starts it.
- 5
Send us connection.txt
C:\PlankConnector\connection.txt holds the permanent link and access key. Send it only to us, over a secure channel. It does not contain the 1C password.
Where the 1C password is kept
Only in C:\PlankConnector\1c-accounts.json on your server. The C:\PlankConnector folder is readable by SYSTEM and administrators only. The connector adds the password to requests to 1C itself — Plank never sees or stores it.
Updating
Download the archive again, unzip it to a temporary folder and run Install-PlankConnector.ps1 the same way. Settings, the password and the permanent link are kept; the old version goes to C:\PlankConnector\backup-<date>. To change the 1C address, password or folder:
powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\Install-PlankConnector.ps1 -ReconfigureManaging it
- Status
Get-ScheduledTask PlankConnector- Stop
Stop-ScheduledTask PlankConnector- Start
Start-ScheduledTask PlankConnector- Log
C:\PlankConnector\connector.log- Remove
powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File C:\PlankConnector\Uninstall-PlankConnector.ps1
If something is wrong
- Send us C:\PlankConnector\connector.log — it contains no passwords.
- “Tunnel did not come up” almost always means outbound port 7844 is closed.
- A 401 that is “not from 1C” means there is a second sign-in in front of the base (a hosting gateway). The 1C password cannot pass it — write to us, it is solvable.
